Drive up the crater highlands after breakfast, pausing at the rim to take in the breathtaking panorama of the Ngorongoro Crater. The expansive Serengeti stretches on for as far as the eye can see. The name Serengeti means "endless plain," and over two million wildebeest call this 6900 square mile (18000 square km) park home. This abundance of prey that migrates around the park attracts large predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.
Along with about 500 kinds of birds, the region is home to several smaller animals, including African hares, rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and honey badgers. You will go to Seronera Campsite for dinner and your overnight stay following the game drive.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro
After breakfast this morning, you will have to get up early to go on an early game drive. You'll descend to the crater, which is home to nearly all of East Africa's native animals, including the endangered black rhino. The crater is really home to the planet's highest concentration of biodiversity.
There are flamingos, a forest, wide grasslands, a river, many marshes, and a soda lake that appears to be steam from above. Because of the strong mineral composition of the volcanic soil and its grasses, the huge bull elephants that live here grow incredibly long tusks. You will drive to Fig Tree Lodge after a five-hour game drive, where you may unwind and have dinner.

Your safari guide will drive you to Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast, having picked you up from your lodging. Manyara is a park 120 kilometers west of Arusha that is somewhat small but diversified. The park bears the name of a salty, shallow lake. It encompasses a sizable portion of the park, which floods and dries with the seasons.
More than 500 different bird species and thousands of flamingos call it home. Monkeys, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, elephants, wildebeests, and, with any luck, lions relaxing in the trees can all be seen while exploring the park. The park is renowned for its varied topography, which includes baobab-dotted cliffs, woodlands teeming with primates, and broad grassy plains. After a full day game drive, you will return to Arusha where your safari concludes.
