We are starting our safari adventure today! Travel to Tarangire National Park by car for two hours and twenty minutes after breakfast. The park is renowned for its profusion of Ancient Baobab trees, which are the biggest trees on the continent, and its sizable herds of elephants. Seasonal marshes, savanna, and the Tarangire River, which is home to a wide variety of birds, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and elephants, will all be visible from the vehicle's open roof. There is a breathtaking view from the picnic area. After eating a picnic lunch there and watching the game, we'll head inside the park to the tent for dinner and the night.

We're going to the park today for the entire day. We leave early in the morning to begin our exploration, then head back to the campsite for breakfast and lunch before embarking on a full-day game drive over the stunning Serengeti landscape in search of the Big 5. More than 500 bird species have been identified in the Serengeti, ranging from the enormous ostrich and strange secretary bird of the open grassland to the black eagles that swoop gracefully over the savannah. The Serengeti is not just about big mammals. We'll keep looking for wildlife in the Serengeti before heading back to the campground for dinner and the night at sunset.

With our packed breakfast, we will board the safari vehicle at 6 a.m. today and head down to the crater. Nearly every kind of wildlife native to East Africa can be found in this breathtaking location, including the endangered black rhino, which we may be fortunate enough to see. With a surface size of 260 km² and a diameter of roughly 20 kilometers, it will likely take us 5 to 6 hours to investigate. After your final lunch with us, we'll head back up to the campground before returning to Arusha by car. We anticipate returning to town between five and six o'clock.
